holi's approach to moderation
To ensure a friendly and constructive environment on Holi, we have established our Community Guidelines. In these, you can read about the principles by which we make moderation decisions. Furthermore, you will find a list of content that we generally moderate.
Content can be reported in 3 ways:
🚩 You can report inappropriate content directly on Holi. You can report posts, comments, users, and entire spaces to us.
📧 If the case is more complex, you can also reach us via email at: moderation@holi.social
👀 As the Holi Community Team, we keep an eye on comments in the home feed. There, we engage in discussions and also report ourselves if we come across inappropriate content.
🤝 We always have at least 4 sets of eyes on a moderation case. This is to ensure that decisions are made as objectively as possible, and in case of disagreement, we escalate to a third, independent party.
Can I challenge a moderation decision?
If you disagree with a moderation decision, you can challenge it within 3 weeks. Write us an email at moderation@holi.social and describe the case.
